Some call it the Blog Parade, others the Blog Carnival, they all mean the same. This is what it is:
Lots of blogs all write about the same thing, one blog collects it all together, summarises it, and then makes it available to the other blogs again. Anyone who wants to know more, can look it up at Wikipedia.
We’re now starting the International Blog Parade here at the TeNo blog: Blog around the clock. International because we want to start this blog at the same time in our German, Spanish and French blogs. And we thought we’d collect articles about time and watches. So we’ve spread the subject matter pretty far and wide – we’d love to get philosophical observations on time itself, just as much as we’d like practical tips for better time management, photos on watches and time, reviews of books about time and watches, articles about special watches of any make, watch collections, advice on watch museums, links to watch blogs and watch portals and and and….. There’s no limit set on your imagination or ideas.
We’re hoping that through this we can get a really extensive collection of material that we can collect and sort out and then put it all together as a file (PDF) for everyone. This treasure trove of interesting information won’t just be for dedicated watch fans and collectors.
Blog around the clock starts with this post and everyone has time to blog and make their contribution on the subject of watches and time until 15.06. 2008.
This is how it works: use the button for Blog around the clock to illustrate your article on the Blog Parade. Write your article for this Parade and put a Trackback to this start posting. That’s all you have to do. Of course you can write as many articles as you want. We’d also be very happy if you advertised this Parade too.
As a thank you for taking part, at the end we’ll have a lucky dip for all participants and give away 10 TeNo Design watches – you can choose either a man’s or lady’s watch.
So, on your marks, get set, go: Blog around the clock!
