Chinese zodiacs

Florian - Friday, 27. February 2009

Usually, zodiacs are symbolized by stars. However this time, a japanese artist used the worldmap in black and white and rearranged the continents to create 12 chinese zodiacs. I think he did a good job, although I have to admit that sometimes I need  quite a bit of my imagination to recognize the zodiacs.

Less of imagination and more explanation can be found in the TeNo zodiac lounge. And for those who not only like to see their zodiac but also want to wear it, on your neck or wrist, you might take a look here. :-)

TaMoR partnership rings by TeNo – a l o t of new models

Juergen - Thursday, 26. February 2009

Last year, the request of partnership rings of our TaMoR collection was as high as never before. And of course that’s a reason to present a lot of new models with new designs and surfaces at the Inhorgenta 2009. Smooth satined stainless steel and exclusive materials: high quality, hight-tech ceramic, 18 carat rosé-gold with or without diamonds. Above you can see the new pair of rings with wide stripes of black high-tech ceramic, a matt surface and a smooth rounded profile. Of course with large diamonds set in the middle. They are also available in the new TeNo ICE line as presented to you here. The new ice-matt structure creates an exiting look combined with the polished segments. Also available as a seperate ring.

Inhorgenta 2009

Florian - Wednesday, 25. February 2009

It’s been a few days now since the Inhorgenta 2009, but somehow the euphoria about the exhibition is still there. This time there were quite a few new faces and of course celebrities at the TeNo booth. First of all we’d like to welcome Simone Elbe, who is new to the TeNo family. You can see her on the right, next to Yvette.

And also Lara has a new partner, Jordi Lozano Olive.

And what would the Inhorgenta be without the traditional “saturday-evening-TeNo-family-diner”. However, this time we choosed a restaurant outside of Munich, the “Forsthaus Woernbrunn”, instead of the restaurant of the hotel TeNo stayed in. (more…)

Gem game

Florian - Sunday, 22. February 2009

blockdrop

Here is a game which is, from my experience, very edicting. Maybe because you play a gem, or because the levels can be very tricky. ;-) The goal of the game is to jump from block to block and make them disappear this way, until only the final block with the checker-board pattern is left. Sounds easy but exept for the first few levels it isn’t. Nevertheless it’s the perfect game for friends of big diamonds and procrastination.  ;-)

As you can see from the screenshot, I’m currently at level 12. So try to beat that. :-)

TeNo ICE

Juergen - Friday, 20. February 2009

TeNo ICE – the new ice matt structure by TeNo. Combined with 18 carat gold our jewelry and rings develop a timeless vanguard look.

And the best thing is – the surface can’t scratch anymore . ;-)

Since it already has “scratches” from the beginning on, it looks like a grazed ice surface. To work this structure into the stainless steel is hard work and demands a lot of handcrafting skills, but as we think, the effort is worth it. Besides the new rings there will also be matching necklaces and earrings. And now I’m very excited about what our blogreaders think about the new TeNo ICE?

Emanuele the swimming billard player

Juergen - Friday, 20. February 2009

One day you make a sponsoring-deal with billard players and the next day they send you  pictures of them in swimming suits. ;-)

“Don’t get the wrong idea”, but for the next time, please wear a YuKoN steel collier. That will boost the look of your medals and is also waterproofed. ;-)

But it’s a cool thing that our sponsored TeNo sports have many-sidet talents and therefore are a perfect match to our collection. Emanuele is not only a successful billard player but has also won 2 times the second and once the third place in a swimming cup.

TeNo-Blog visitors

Florian - Thursday, 19. February 2009

A few days ago I blogged about visitors who don’t leave a comment. In a related comment to the post I was asked about my readers and where they come from.

And via Sitemeter it’s possible to “stalk” people. ;-) So here we go: I start with the different countries, because somehow I think that’s the most interesting part. Most readers 58% are from Germany which is not that big of a suprise, although we have a seperate german blog as well. About  12% are from the United States which is good because our goal is to reach international readers. Another 10% are from France and 8% from Spain. Those are just the countries where most people are from. There is also a smaller share of visitors from the Uk, Sweden, the Netherlands and Canada.

worldmap

Here is a world map to picturize where our visitors come from. You can still see pretty clear that most of them are from Europe. But those from Ottawa, Virginia or California are also more than welcome. :-)

And another thing that was very suprising in a good way, that the visitors stayed on the TeNo-Blog for about 5:35 minutes. Now, it would be perfect if we got lots and lots of comments of all the visitors. ;-)

Jewelry Boy

Florian - Wednesday, 18. February 2009

It seems that you can’t start early enough to develop a good sense for jewelry and fashion. Just as this young man already seems to be pretty sure about what he wants and what he thinks looks good.

Maybe with a little bit of luck we can convince him to wear TeNo jewelry as well. A DyKoN bracelet for example would be a perfect for the beginning. :-)dykonstahl-300x200

New from TeNo: YuKoN coins

Juergen - Tuesday, 17. February 2009

yukon-coins

There are only a few days left until we start for the Inhorgenta 2009. The final countdown has started, with a few obstacles in our way. First I got sick and yesterday Felix and he had to go home. :-( But that won’t stop us from looking forward to the exhibition and all the exiting new innovations which we finally can present to you. For example our new YuKoN coins. The TeNo currency against the financial crisis. ;-)

Our new pendants for our collectors edition YuKoN create a hole new look and “give it more variation options”. The coins are solid with double sited ceramic inlays. Jewelry with a special message “as it were”, because on the coins are small messages optional in different languages, japanese, latin or english. We’re exited about how the reaction will be on the exhibition. What do you think?
