Commercial on coins

Juergen - Thursday, June 18 2009

Advertising agencies always find new way to advertise products or special events. But why print a commercial on a coin? Okay, I don’t think that you can actually pay with the Obama coin. But there are other companies who actually print there names on regular coins.
Do you think this is a good way to advertise?

Me, I prefer the TeNo currency – the YuKoN Coins. You won’t be able to pay with them but therefore they look much more stylish and not that smudged. Plus they can be the trigger to attract attention.

The Flowers ;-)

Biggi - Wednesday, June 17 2009

After we were such impressed because of the dimension of the big big baloons Mehmet got for his birthday, he commented:

you have to see the flowers Sherrie and Rafael sent me… if you think the Baloons is huge the flower came in a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Martini Glass….

Sherri was quick on the trigger and sent some fotos. Folks, here they are – the flowers and the very special “vase” Sherri and Rafael sent to Memets birthday. It must be amazing to have such nice bosses. :-)

Why we all appreciate regular watches

Florian - Wednesday, June 17 2009

I don’t think this needs much of an explanation. Although I have to say that it looks really interesting. ;-)

Imagine you would have to do that all day long just to know what time it is. And then you don’t have any time left to do something else. ;-)
I don’t know about you but that’s a reason for me to wear regular watches. Besides, I don’t think that the Sweeper clock is very precise.

In contrary to that, a the TeNo watch with a much better precision. ;-)

The First Lady´s fashion style

Florian - Saturday, June 13 2009

As you read here, the style of Michelle Obama has become quite famous. Not only that her fashion style is great, but also her personal taste of accessories like jewelry. Supposedly, she especially likes wearing pearls. In brown and gold. Also, the blog says that Mrs. Obama loves pendants and likes to add color.

Maybe TeNo pearls or the YuKoN color elements would fit the taste of the First Lady as well? We would be very proud to provide her with our jewelry. :-)

A rainy day in Miami

Florian - Thursday, June 11 2009

I recently received this mail from our TeNo store in South Beach:

No Hurricane, just a rainy day South Beach.

I wonder if all “rainy days” look like this. As you can see from the pictures, parts of the the TeNo store were under water. And the streets did not any better. I just hope the jewelry was save. ;-)

The healing power of jewelry

Florian - Wednesday, June 10 2009

As you can read in this post, some people think that certain jewelry with symbols have a healing power. One example would be rosary beads or a crucifix on a wedding band. The thought behind all this is, that supposedly all things rely on energy and symbols can balance this energy in our lives for good health and such.

The way I feel about this, is that it’s enough when jewelry is stylish, personal, when I can relate to it and in some ways it supports my character. If I have bad health I try to heal it by taking medicine for instants. But maybe if you believe really really strong the healing power of jewelry it might work too. And if certain symbols are needed, the TeNo personal collection might be the perfect ring for you. You can carve in any letter or symbol you want.  Simply personal. :-)

Naming jewelry

Florian - Tuesday, June 9 2009

I know, not by personal experience, but from hearsay (and “indirect experience), that naming a jewelry collection can be quite hard. And today I stumbled across this blog entry which is about naming new jewelry collections. Though I have to say that some tips, like Alison #1, Alison#2 and so on, are in my eyes not the most elegant way to create a name.

The name YuKoN for instans was coined by the river Yukon in Canada (shown on the picture above), which became famous especially for the goldmining and the search of people for their individual way of life and luck. Another tip is to find a personal name for the jewelry item. The costumer should relate or associate something with the name and I think TeNo is doing a good job so far. ;-) For example  the engagement ring collection TaMoR or the other ring collection personal.

Stainless steel wedding rings

Florian - Sunday, June 7 2009

Recently we had a blog entry about stainless steel wedding rings gaining more and more popularity. Now, on the blog wedding rings.net it says that especially younger couples are considering buying those kind of wedding rings. Also, the material itself hold a lot of advantages. For example the durability, the annual rising demand of stainless steel the jewelry business, or the overall low manufacturing costs compared to other materials like tungsten titanium.  There are many more reasons and advantages of stainless steel why to use it for the manufacturing of jewelry, so you better read it the hole article. :-) But here is one quote I couldn’t hold back:

So when shopping for wedding bands that offer the same style, quality and durability as the pricier precious metals, but without the cost and environmental impacts associated with them, stainless steel is an obvious choice for creating a long lasting bond

Stainless steel, of course, is the main component of  TeNo products. And we are sure that this  material will assert itself against the others. And we are the proof that it is very stylish. ;-)

Also: Welcome weddingrings.net in our blogroll. !
