YuKoN loop – collecting is really going round!

Juergen - Wednesday, 30. September 2009

It all started with a basic bracelet in rubber, quickly followed by YuKoN steel. Now TeNo has extended its selection of bracelets for the YuKoN collectors’ collection even further: YuKoN loop is the name of the new wrap-around bracelet in velvet black, soft rubber from the TeNo high-tech workshops. Like all our YuKoN bracelets, the new YuKoN loop also has an exchangeable, robust fastener of fine satin steel, available in various designs. And like everything from TeNo, YuKoN loop is also made in Germany.

YuKoN loop is one thing above all else: long. Depending on the desired length, it can be wrapped twice or several times around the arm and so offers twice or even three times as much space for collection elements in stainless steel, rosé and yellow gold, with diamonds, wood or mother-of-pearl, for YuKoN Coins or for the colourful accents of the YuKoN. Colours. With YuKoN loop, design fans have even more scope in creating their individual jewelry design.

Our claim: YuKoN loop – for collectors who want more. More jewelry, more style, more YuKoN.

Vienna calling

vienna

Some days ago we got the approval for the layout of this signpost. It is going to be placed at a corner house on “The Graben”, which is one of the most famous and most busy shopping streets in Vienna City. The sign is going to show TeNo fans the way to our new TeNo store in the Habsburgergasse where the new TeNo store in Vienna is going to be opened in just a few weeks.

Happy Birthday Yvette

orchid-birthday_2-300x168

Today we’ve a reason to celebrate in our TeNo family. It’s Yvettes birthday! Unfortunately we only can send our best wishes via internet because Yvette lives far way in the Netherlands. Our dutch representative has her special day today. We hope she’ll celebrate her party till she drops. She really has a good reason for celebrating herself. Since she started working for TeNo in the Netherlands it´s going really great. We couldn´t wish for a better reseller. But anyway Yvette – today you can let the design jewelry be design jewelry,  you can leave the collection case and instead just enjoy the day with all your friends and your family. A very special birthday from the whole TeNo family! Stay the way you are, because your just great!

Bloggers and their jewelry: Interview with Teresa

Florian - Thursday, 24. September 2009

ichklein1-121x300

Here we go with another edition of our “Bloggers and their jewelry” series. This time we interviewed Teresa, our new blogger for the English TeNo blog. In the following questions she will tell us everything about her taste concerning jewelry. And obviously she likes everything from self made necklaces to YuKoN. She just started blogging for TeNo and as it seems she´s already developed a sense for good jewelry.

1. Do you wear jewelry, if yes what kind?

I don’t wear that much jewelry, sometimes earrings, a necklace or a ring, but not that often. Right now for example I’m not wearing any jewelry…;-)

2. When do you wear jewelry? All the time or just for special occasions?

More for special occasions I think. But sometimes I find something that matches my outfit and I just wear it then.

3. Is there jewelry that you would never wear? (more…)

Broken Jewelry-no need to be sad…

Teresa - Wednesday, 23. September 2009

kreuz

I just read this post on the Violent Pillow Blog. Gabriel the owner of the blog writes there about his life and this includes TeNo. He loves his TeNo necklace which he has been wearing constantly since June 2006 but a few days ago he wrote that his TeNo necklace, which he got for his graduation broke.

Of course that is really terrible BUT no reason to be sad. I’m pretty sure that if you go to a juweler of your trust he will be able to fix your necklace. And then you can enjoy your TeNo necklace again and don’t have to wear it on a piece of rubber. ;-)

Australian R J Scanlan TeNo team

Juergen - Wednesday, 23. September 2009

Stephen from Australia is really busy. I asked for a photo – and yepp – here it is.

team australia

Stephen explains the photo with his mail. He wrote:

In answer to Jürgen’s request here is a picture of the Australian R J Scanlan TeNo team. Sam on the right hand side is responsible for the ordering of TeNo and deals with many of the Australian Jewellers who sell TeNo. As Jürgen has said, we had many jewellers who were very impressed with TeNo, particularly the YuKoN range.

We had made up one YuKoN Stainless Steel Necklace for the display using one 18K polished donut on either side of a steel and 18K wave element set with diamonds and this piece looked great and was purchased by lots of our customers.

Best Regards

Stephen

Thanks a lot Stephen! We’re looking forward to hear all news from abroad. We’d love to take part a bit.

Bloggers and their jewelry: Interview with Florian

Teresa - Sunday, 20. September 2009

We are doing an interview serial called “Bloggers and their jewelry”. We want to use this serial to introduce other blogs we like to read to you.  And it suggests itself to do an interview about what TeNo is all about: Jewelry. We want to have a variety of many different blogs and bloggers which we will present bit by bit.

floBut first we answered the interview ourselves and present each other, so you can get to know us a little bit better…:-) So here is Florian, one of the main bloggers on the English TeNo blog.

1. Do you wear jewelry, if yes what kind?

I have a silver necklace since 3 1/2 years which I wear all the time. At night, during the shower and while doing sports. ;-) And of course my YuKon bracelet which I have since about 1 year, besides changing some elements I also wear that all the time.

2. When do you wear jewelry? All the time or just for special occasions?

As I said, ALWAYS. :-)

3. Is there jewelry that you would never wear? (more…)

TeNo in Australia

Juergen - Wednesday, 16. September 2009

In 2005 the Australian Rob Scanlan started with the distribution of our designer jewelry in New Zealand and Australia. The start wasn’t easy, but Rob and his team believed in the success of our modern jewlelry especially due to the high quality and the reputation of “Made in Germany” on their continent. This year the exhibition was really successful for TeNo. A lot of new customers living in the higher classes ordered TeNo products. General Manager Stephan Brown sent me some pictures of TeNos presentation on the exhibition. TeNo was integrated in the brand new exhibition booth of Rob Scanlan&Co Pty Ltd. .

By the way, Rob Scanlan visited us with his General Manager Stephen Brown in Germany and Stephan then expressed his impressions in a great article which we published on teno-blog.com. We are really excited that TeNo is now also becoming more and more successful in New Zealand and Australia. I hope we’ll get some pictures of the next exhibition showing the whole team of Rob Scanlan. :-)

How to be beautiful

What makes a woman beautiful? Well, at first thoughts, I´d say it depends on the overall look. Face, appearance, fashion, it just has to match, without trying too hard. But something that makes a woman really beautiful is TeNo. I think that´ll help to have a sexy confidence. :-) And if you need proof just read this post. Miss Czech 2009 is wearing TeNo de luxx and it just looks great on her as I think. Stainless steel with diamonds, pearls or different kinds of  inlays. Or the pearl necklace in one of the last posts. Very feminine and very beautiful. “Simple smiles or a piece of jewelry” that´s what the author of the post says. A shiny piece of jewelry to brighten up your day. And may also reflect your confidence.

New TeNo rings – you create your own personal design

Teresa - Sunday, 13. September 2009

We found some crazy and really unique rings. Have you ever seen a ring with fingerprints on it? How about a ring that looks like a lock or a ring that helps you remembering special dates?

Creativity and unique jewlery has no limit. From now on you can get the TeNo personal rings with your own designs.

On this picture you can see the classical signet ring with its seal. The emblem gets engraved mirror-inverted to seal it on the ring.  The engraving in stainless steel is a lot harder than in gold or silver. For your own personal creation we need your motive in digital style so we can create your own personal TeNo ring perfectly with a lot of accuracy.  A non digital design makes the creation of your own TeNo ring more expensive and a lot harder because if the motive is taken from a business card or other papers it needs to be reworked on for 2-3 hours manual to fix details and outlines. Not until then the engraver can start working on the actual engraving part. A non seal motive can be similar complex because it needs a lot of accuracy and precision work to get the engraving in the stainless steel.
