It´s time again for the countless pumpkins in the fore yards  people dressed in scary costumes trying to scare each other. And for kids, going from door to door  saying “trick`r treat” hoping to get some candy. If they don´t, then the house owner will know why he should´ve given them something by looking at his house or car the next day. ;-) So enjoy your pumpkin carving and costume designing.

Like the Run for more time in Frankfurt tried to raise money for an AIDS-aid, the Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion event in Chicago tries to gather money to help women with breast cancer. This year they had their 25 anniversary and a lot of famous designers like Tommy Hilfiger created a fashion only for this event.  The proceeds from the selling of the fashion were donated to different kinds of  organizations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. As you can see on the pictures, many designers mainly used pink as their color since pink represents. Other companies came up with new ideas, for example for everyone who join Gilette Venus, Gilette will donate 1 $ to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Besides that, a lot of bars and hotels had events going on in order to raise money, so the whole city was involved. To get some facts about breast cancer check out this website.

Those of you who follow this blog on a  regular basis might have read the care tips about pearls. There we told you about how to take care of your pearl necklace. For example that you should avoid hairspray or any cosmetic products. But also another problem occurs when wearing the necklace very often. The pearls come in contact with the skin and this way absorb acid gradually. To keep the pearls from getting a mat look you can wipe them with a cloth after wearing them. this will not prevent the process completely but it will slow it down significantly. So if you have pearl jewelry or are planning on buying it, take good care of it. And if you’ve any more questions – ask your jeweller. He is an expert and he’ll give advice what to do. :-)

It’s done-last saturday the new TeNo store in the Habsburgergasse in Vienna was opened.  The time before the opening meant a lot of work and stress, but together it was possible to do.  Felix, Adriane from the TeNo store Cologne, our joiners Gaby and Clemens from the Gabriele Menkhaus joinery and Jürgen came from Germany to be a part of the opening. Our store partner Fritz Schneider brought besides all of the new TeNo store staff members his entire family. Just like always one day before the opening it was hard to imagine that really soon and new stylish store with designer jewelry would be opened.

…or maybe for people who don´t have a lot of time and and can´t read a post while doing something else.

This blog actually grabbed my attention, because the title said “Basic Bridal Jewelry: the right UK bridal necklaces”. When I started reading it I thought that this post is just another wedding post giving tips how to choose the right bridal jewelry for yourself. But when I scrolled back up to the beginning of the post I noticed a little button which says “listen now”. And underneath it, the typical “play” and “volume” symbol. When I clicked on the play button, first  a voice said “odigo.com the webred for you.” and then another voice started to read out the whole post for me, even when I switched to another browser on my explorer. So that´s a new way to get news, at least for me. You don´t even have to read now. Basically, except clicking on buttons you don´t have to do anything. And you can download the post to your mp3-player for whatever reason. I, for myself, still prefer to read a post myself, not listening to an annoying voice, but what do you think? And by the way, the post advises pearl jewelry. So here is my suggestion.

On Sunday the 13th. September our TeNo team took part at the Run for more time in Frankfurt. 131.000 € were collected for the Regenbogendienst of the AIDS-aid Frankfurt, an organization for care and fostering for AIDS victims. We think, that this is a really great amount, which made it worth all the effort and endurance and take part in such an event. Felix was there and here are some impressions of the day.

This post clearly belongs to the category “wiered and odd jewelry”. If you take a look , you`ll see what I mean. I found this on the Nylon-blog. Obviously there is an argument going on between werewolves fans and those who prefere vampires. Well, I can´t say much about who is better except that in the “wieredst jewelry competition” the werewolves clearly won. I, however, prefer different kinds of jewelry. ;-)

Finally we can present the final video, produced by Raphael Niebel. We already showed you some pictures which were made during the making off. This really is Raphael´s first video and he is responsible for the idea, script, direction, organization and production. And we think he did a good job, congratulation! Keep up the innovative work.

Today it’s Sherries birthday. Sherrie is our soul from TeNo USA. Management of TeNo Stores in New York and Las Vegas couldn’t be thought without her. She is always at the side of our costumers and does a lot to make them feel content. Dear Sherrie we all congratulate and wish a very happy day. Please stay as you are cause that’s the way you’re great!We all wish a lot of luck, health and happiness. May all your wishes come true. All the best from Germany and happy, happy birthday!
