TeNo - discover your desire

We got a postcard from Monika and Dieter Lechler who spent their vacation on Rhodos in Greece. They just started blogging for their jewelry store “Solitaire” in Freiburg. Monika sends a postcard every year but it’s not an usual one – she designs her own postcardy by drawing attention to jewelry in an artistic way, just like this colorful mixed  bracelet from our YuKoN collection. It reminds of a rainbow and looks really great with the blue sky in the background.  We were really excited about these holiday greetings. Thank you!

Today is the 15th of October and therefore the Blog Action Day 2009. Over 5000 blogs of more than 126 countries from all over the world will blog today about one and the same topic: the climate change, or better the protection of the world´s climate. Each country from it´s own perspective, each one with its own approach, each one as it prefers. We did a little survey among the TeNo workers, asking what they do to protect the climate. Because we have the opinion that everyone can play a big role saving the earth, starting with himself.

Yvette from the Netherlands sent us an information written by our new BMX team:

We are very happy that our team have a new sponsor by TeNo. We are an International BMX team, with 4 riders Sam, Roy, Gerben and Elis, 3 men and 1 girl. TeNo fits very well by a tough sport as BMX. The riders have competition  all over the world, they won national and international prices European and World championships. This year won Elis for the 7^th time in Adelaide Australia the World championships. The Team have an own internet site www.bmxteamoxalis.nl , on this site we put the pictures and the news from the competition and the riders. The riders are very happy with their new TeNo watches, because every second is important for a good result. We keep you informed about the team.

We welcome the riders in our TeNo family and wish great success! Also we’re looking forward every new information. We’re always interested in our TeNo teams and would like to hear from you as often as possible.

A couple of weeks ago we wrote about Gabriels broken TeNo necklace. Apparently he took Sherris advice and repaired his necklace. Or did he find an alternative necklace to wear his equal cross from TeNo?

Anyway the pictures on Gabriels blog are just awesome and we’re glad he found a way to wear his TeNo necklace again so he could combine great TeNo jewelry and great pictures in one.

We’re really excited that a new TeNo store is going to be opened by the end of October in Hannover. The renovation of the new TeNo store can start now and we’re pretty sure that the new store is going to be really successful. It’s not the first new TeNo store but still we’re happy and excited about the new one in Hannover and we are anxious to the result, although every TeNo store is arranged in the typical TeNo style, yet every TeNo store is something special. After we just opened a new TeNo store in Vienna in Austria, the new new TeNo store in Hannover is going to be the third in Germany after the ones in Baden-Baden and Cologne.

As you can see the number of TeNo stores is constantly growing and we’re really excited about the new one in Hannover and can’t wait to see it finished. :)

Snipped&Inked, a blog you can already find in our blogroll, came up with a very nice idea. They started a competition. All the couples had to enter their personal love story where they described how they fell in love and why they should win. From my understanding, the winner gets a 500,-$ travel credit for their honeymoon as well as some other nice gifts and, I think that´s the main price, a photo shoot with “A Brain photo“, a photographer from NYC specialized on wedding and engagement pictures.  Here you can see the stories of the four finalist couples. They all have very nice and positive stories to tell mainly concerning what NYC means to them and how they found each other. I already submitted my vote.

Soon, the winner will be declared and marry during the winter in NYC. Or at least that´s where the pictures will be taken. Pictures that last forever and represent a very special moment. Just like the rings they will wear from that day on and hopefully last forever.And, in my eyes, a very stylish option for an engagement ring you can see above. Stainless steel with a ceramic inlay. Some days ago the 11. jewelry- and watches trade fair Pretiosa Diamonds took place in Salzburg, Austria. Not the end-consumers were the target group but jewelers, watchmakers and goldsmiths. The Pretiosa Diamonds is the only jewelry- and watches trade fair in Austria. The relocation to the more modern exhibition center in Salzburg was from my point of view a consistent and very important step. From the beginning on the comfortable advantages of the huge and even exhibition halls became clear. TeNo exhibited for the 5th time ate the Pretiosa Diamonds. And together with our reseller in Austria Fritz Schneider and his hole team the exhibition was really great after all these years. It appears, that we finally gained ground in Austria . By now, we are represented at 40 locations at very good jewelry stores.

On the picture in the middle you can see Fritz Schneider. He distributes together with his team besides typical trading goods the jewelry brands Nomination, Ti Sento, the brands Studex for piercing jewelry, packaging from Dahlinger and since one year TeNo designer jewelry.
