TeNo - discover your desire

Here it comes, another interview of our serie “Bloggers and their jewelry”. This time we interviewed Anna Maria, she is one of the bloggers on the spanish TeNo- Blog and in the interview she will give us an insight into her favorite jewelry. So here it comes!

1. Do you wear jewelry, if yes what kind?

Last year I wore a lot of colorful or leather bracelets, since I’m practicing volleyball regulary I don’t wear that kind of “permanent jewelry” anymore. ;-) I really like short necklaces – sometimes even two at the same time - and ethno style jewelry. Rings, I think, are annoying.

2. When do you wear jewelry? All the time or just for special occasions?

I wear special pieces of jewelry, such as heirloom or other valual things, for special occasions.

3.Is there jewelry that you would never wear?

Do piercings count as jewelry? Body jewelry I refuse, but I don’t think that’s meant here.;-)

4.What do you look for when you buy jewelry? (Material? Price? Peculiarity? etc.)

I own mostly costume jewelry, ’cause I don’t spend a lot of money on earrings and other jewelry. But the material is very important – pearls are definitely a must! And please, don’t combine gold and silver.

5.Did you ever get any jewelry as a present? If yes, from whom?

I really want to get to know the woman who has never got any jewelry yet. I’m afraid to say that in my case most of it is collected unworn in a small bag. However I got a lot of jewelry from my Mom which I really like. Really creative was my godfather’s idea: he gave me a silver bracelet with a personal engraved quote. Unfortunately it’s really massive and heavy, but maybe that’s because of the meaningful message.;-)

6. Did you ever give someone jewelry as a present? If yes, to who?

The same procedure as every year! I really like to do handicrafts and before christmas it’s booming. I create jewelry out of glass pearls, feathers, felt, shells, rocks…and the ones who get it seem to relly enjoy it.

7. Do you have a favorite piece of jewelry? Or a piece that has a special meaning/story to you?

A bracelet that we exchange-student-friends from Italy, Belgium, Dominican Republique and Germany gave to each other – with colorful eyes that are supposed to give luck, one for each of us. But my favorite one is a circular silver trinket with an arabian pattern and a small lapis lazuli.

8.How do you like TeNo design jewelry? What do you like about it, what don’t you like? Please tell us you honset opinion.

Nice. Simple. My favorite is the SuMa necklace and the YuKoN bracelets. I think ShiKou is too straight. The combination of wood and stainless steel is amazing, there definitely should be more of that!
