and regarding the first comment, despite the fact that you misheard me, does it make a difference who purchased the gift? i came into your store wearing a defective TeNo product, which you damaged and then condescended me. in my experience, that is not a sound strategy for selling luxury goods in a bad economy.

funny, in the store, you said it was Your mother that purchased the chain for you. Please note we were only trying to help you get the necklace off without ruing the chain. We succeded, but still you were not happy.

As a large fan of TeNo, I have to say i was sorely disappointed at the level of service, or lack thereof in your NYC Spring Street location.

My girlfriend purchased a cord necklace for me at that location, and after a handful of times wearing it, the fastener wouldn't open.

I went into the store for some advice, and an employee said he could help me. I turned around and he used two plyers to wrench it open, ruining the piece - denting the closure and scratching it beyond repair. He said he was doing me a favor and refused to replace it.

He offered to send it off for repair for $60. on a $90 necklace.

I asked him his name. he said 'the manager'.

That is not the service i had come to expect. Frankly, i am disappointed.
