Holiday dreams with YuKoN

Sarah - Monday, June 13 2011

Summertime is holiday season. Those among you who aren’t so lucky to live in a country with warm and sunny summers may wish to travel to foreign countries. However, not everybody has the time or the money for a journey this year. But this does not mean that these people cannot dream of foreign beaches or seas.

With YuKoN for example you can put the dreams of your perfect holiday into practice. You simply have to discover your desire. ;-)

Here are some ideas.

The YuKoN charm made of stainless steel and mother-of-pearl which looks a bit like a shell:

Elements from YuKoN colours. The light one resembles the water of a swimming pool and the dark one looks like the water of the sea:

And how about a whole bracelet made of woven leather in the colour of the sand?

If you want to inform yourself about travelling and everything that has to do with holidays or if you simply want to look at some pictures which will make you want to travel, take a look at the travel-rants blog.

Some ideas for Father’s Day

Sarah - Friday, May 20 2011

Even though we have forgotten to write such an article for Mother’s Day, we now get a new chance do so for Father’s Day. So it is good that TeNo is unisex because men like it too. That is why we will propose some ideas for a present for your dad here.

I am sure that many oft you have shown your mother on Mother’s Day by small presents and attentive gestures that you love and thank her . Of course we also have some big and small ideas of pieces jewellery. What is most practical: the majority of our jewellery is unisex and fascinate women as well as men, for example on Father’s Day. ;-)

Nice presents which can be augmented each year are our YuKoN bracelets and colliers. You can collect more than 400 elements to create your individual YuKoN. A special highlight is the coins which transport short messages. How about the Japanese sign for love, luck and a long life?

You can also put messages down in handwriting and keep them safely in the pendant MemoRo. It is obtainable in different designs which may either have a feminine or a masculine character. (more …)

Red: Another colour for those who have flair

Sarah - Wednesday, April 27 2011

Yesterday, we told you that royal blue is the most popular colour of the moment and that it is conquering the catwalks. Since William and Kate, it also conquers people’s hearts. But blue is not the only royal colour. Other majesties rely on red. Just as princess Maxima of the Netherlands. For her and for all the other fans of this passionate colour, we have got some pieces of jewellery in our TeNo collection:

Royal Blue

Sarah - Tuesday, April 26 2011

Blue is the predominating colour of the moment. Not only the sky is blue or we wish to see the deep blue sea but this week, William and Kate will marry. William is said to have “blue blood” and on the official photo, Kate is wearing a blue dress and – what is most important – the famous blue engagement ring as you can see here for example.

If you also fancy royal blue, take a look at the range of TeNo. Here are some pieces of jewellery which certainly will make you feel as royal as William and Kate ;-) :

Also the jewelryblog which you find in our blogroll is worth a visit. Here you can see more pieces of royal blue jewellery.

You smile and the world changes

Sarah - Monday, March 14 2011

At the first evening of the trade fair we had a great party at the Buddha-Bar at the fair in Munich. Our event was a charity event for the benefit of the organisation Herzenswünsche e.V. Together with many TV stars, the charity commits itself to seriously ill children and young persons and it fulfils dearest wishes.

After the end of the fair, we were locked up in hall B2 and had a huge party with all our guests – about 400 jewellers from all over Germany. The champaign flew freely and the atmosphere was great. An event which gave rise to a new picture story here at the TeNo blog.

Many celebrities have come for a good cause. They sold grab bags – full of exciting and valuable surprises – to our guests. The proceeds went to Herzenswünsche.

TeNo voice Nico Schwanz used all his charm to get as much proceeds as possible. He succeeded. He is a real talent. :)

Nico had his photos taken with the guests. Here, you see him with our employee Corinna Kühn. He does not only hold Corinna in his arm but also the teddy bear from Herzenswünsche. He also sold such teddies that evening.

Furthermore, our guests were fascinated by Marc Weide who impressed all with his show in which he presented magic tricks.

Adriane Friedrich from the TeNo store at Cologne and Jürgen Heinz in front of our picture wall. As you see, they are in a very good mood. A picture which shows the happy atmosphere of the evening.

And here you see that the evening was worth it for Herzenswünsche. A sincere thank you for all donators and buyers of grab bags.

At the end of the evening, Jürgen Heinz and Franziska from Drachenfels Desgin thanked everybody for the wonderful evening. Manfred Schoedsack who has organised most parts of the event and has worked many extra hours was thanked in a very personal way.

The grab bags which the guests bought for a good cause also contained wish lists on which everybody could write his or her dearest wish. The wishes were hung on the wish tree and at the end of the event, we burnt them in a bowl of fire to give them to the cosmos. An old Buddhist tradition. May the wishes be fulfilled!

But now we hope that through our charity event the association Herzenswünsche e.V. will be able to fulfil the dearest wishes of some ill children and that their family and friends will see the children smile again. Then the world – according to the motto of the evening – will change a little bit because each smile changes the world.

TeNo says thank you! Thanks to ALL – partner jewellers, friends, celebrities, press – who have come to celebrate with us. Thanks a lot to all our employees who helped us before and at the evening of the event. And thanks to Franziska from Drachenfels and her whole team for the wonderful cooperation and the friendly collaboration.
