At the first evening of the trade fair we had a great party at the Buddha-Bar at the fair in Munich. Our event was a charity event for the benefit of the organisation Herzenswünsche e.V. Together with many TV stars, the charity commits itself to seriously ill children and young persons and it fulfils dearest wishes.

After the end of the fair, we were locked up in hall B2 and had a huge party with all our guests – about 400 jewellers from all over Germany. The champaign flew freely and the atmosphere was great. An event which gave rise to a new picture story here at the TeNo blog.

Many celebrities have come for a good cause. They sold grab bags – full of exciting and valuable surprises – to our guests. The proceeds went to Herzenswünsche.

TeNo voice Nico Schwanz used all his charm to get as much proceeds as possible. He succeeded. He is a real talent. :)

Nico had his photos taken with the guests. Here, you see him with our employee Corinna Kühn. He does not only hold Corinna in his arm but also the teddy bear from Herzenswünsche. He also sold such teddies that evening.

Furthermore, our guests were fascinated by Marc Weide who impressed all with his show in which he presented magic tricks.

And here you see that the evening was worth it for Herzenswünsche. A sincere thank you for all donators and buyers of grab bags.

At the end of the evening, Jürgen Heinz and Franziska from Drachenfels Desgin thanked everybody for the wonderful evening. Manfred Schoedsack who has organised most parts of the event and has worked many extra hours was thanked in a very personal way.

The grab bags which the guests bought for a good cause also contained wish lists on which everybody could write his or her dearest wish. The wishes were hung on the wish tree and at the end of the event, we burnt them in a bowl of fire to give them to the cosmos. An old Buddhist tradition. May the wishes be fulfilled!

But now we hope that through our charity event the association Herzenswünsche e.V. will be able to fulfil the dearest wishes of some ill children and that their family and friends will see the children smile again. Then the world – according to the motto of the evening – will change a little bit because each smile changes the world.

TeNo says thank you! Thanks to ALL – partner jewellers, friends, celebrities, press – who have come to celebrate with us. Thanks a lot to all our employees who helped us before and at the evening of the event. And thanks to Franziska from Drachenfels and her whole team for the wonderful cooperation and the friendly collaboration.

Sad that the Soccer World Cup 2010 is over now, but while it was going on also the children were fascinated by it. While the parents were informed in the TeNo store the children had fun with the tabletop soccer which had been set up just for the World Cup. That’s shopping fun for the entire family.

But with sandwiches, enough coffee and of course good mood everyone did their best and so bit by bit a typical TeNo store developed out of a chaos in the beginning.

Clemens and Adriana push furniture all over the place until it’s standing exactly where it’s supposed to be standing. And then finally in the very end Jürgen could hang up our provisory TeNo banner which shows all the cities with TeNo stores, virtually as last step before the start-it’s done. TeNo reached Vienna with its own store.

And here you can see everyone after all the work was done in front of the new chic TeNo store in Vienna. Now only the lighted TeNo sign is missing so that eventually everyone can find and see the new TeNo store really fast from the famous “Graben”. It’s too bad we missed to take pictures of the finished inside of the new TeNo store, but we’ll show you that as soon as we hired a local photographer.

TeNo proudly presents: Michael Schenker, the Hard Rock Café Cologne and their awesome initiative called Pinktober (when you open this link you should turn on your sound, it’s great!)

Pinktober is a worldwide benefit-initiative from all the Hard Rock Cafés for breast cancer awareness and the fight against breast cancer.

In the TeNo store’s display window in the Rheincenter in Cologne a nice and really treasured guitar is showed.

The TeNo team is dressed in Pinktober-style and wears the pink colored Pinktober-Shirts. On the picture you can see Irina – and as if we’ve known it back then our changeable wall paint can transform to pink as well. You can see the Pinktober-Shirts match perfectly into our TeNo store.

On the 12th of October the TeNo store Cologne is doing a little promotion in the Hard Rock Café Cologne and we’ll give you more information later.

The TeNo represantatives worked really hard on the TeNo booth to make it look really nice and in the end it looked great.

TeNo agents Martine (Belgium) and Simone (Germany) together with Yvette who is traveling in the Netherlands for TeNo represented TeNo and it was a lot of fun for all of them to work on the exhibition. They had a lot to do because the TeNo booth was busy all the time, from morning until night clients gathered around TeNo. In the end the “Jewels and Watches Exhibition” was really successful for TeNo, which is not a wonder because jewelers in the Netherlands know that TeNo jewlery satisfies the consumer  not just by the diversity of designs but also by the high quality of TeNo. One proof for that is a great article about TeNo in the dutch jewlery magazine.

Hello TeNo World – Hello TeNo family,

my name is Pavel Moravec and I am the distributor for TeNo in Czech Republic and Poland. Already in october 2007 TeNo was represented in the jewelery fair in Prague for the first time. The name of the fair is HODINY KLENOTY and it was held from 7-10.10. 2007.

Although the Fair was visited more by public than by people from the trade, the TeNo presentation attracted a lot of people. Especially the men’s items e.g. TeNo´s DyKoN bracelet and necklaces, Olive bracelet and necklaces and the new YuKoN line, along with other TeNo accessories have been much admired from the visitors. The shop owners liked the clear design and quality of german made craftsmanship along with complexity of the whole TeNo collection for men and women items. The stand presentation was nominated among the best presented stands on the Fair from total of some 150 exhibitors.

We had also request from Jewellery magazine to supply them with pictures of new TeNo items which should be seen in next issue of the magazine :-) 

We do hope that in the next year more people from the trade will attend the fair. 

The 35th inhorgenta europe (15 – 18 February 2008) promises to be a highlight of the upcoming jewelry and timepiece season. Shortly before the deadline for trade fair registration, it has become clear that the leading European Trade Fair for Watches, Clocks, Jewellery, Precious Stones, Pearls and Technology is continuing to grow. For example, trade fair management expects an increase in exhibitor figures (1,183 in 2007) and trade visitors (30,933 in 2007) in 2008. Six halls with a total of 64,500 square meters exhibition area are available for new trends, new collection, new brands, new technologies and new marketing concepts dealing with all topics concerning timepieces, jewelry, precious stones. A new design concept makes the special importance of the trade fair and the exhibited precious items clear. inhorgenta europe 2008 is presenting reminiscences of a few of the greatest treasures of the world, including the tomb of Tutenchamun (Hall B1), the treasures of the Russian Czars (Hall C2) and the treasures of the Maya (Hall C1) in display windows and special areas.

The range of exhibitor offers will not be less splendid and varied for trade visitors. Everything imaginable about the trends in the timepiece and jewelry market will be exhibited at inhorgenta europe: from antique chronographs to multifunctional digital watches and from exclusive diamond or platinum jewelry all the way to avant-garde designer jewelry creations. The list of the more than 1,200 exhibitors is correspondingly comprehensive and varied.

The competence of inhorgenta europe in the area of jewelry design and designer jewelry is unrivaled. More than 300 exhibitors just in Hall C2 will present almost unlimited creativity and innovative variety of materials. Another trend, which will probably continue at inhorgenta europe 2008, is the increasing internationalization of the trade fair. A new record was set with 9,547 trade visitors from foreign countries in 2007. Record visitor figures were recorded from a few large sales markets, including Spain. The increased efforts of trade fair management to attract an international public are obviously bearing fruit here. For example, inhorgenta europe was presented within the framework of a roadshow in France, Norway, Sweden, Bulgaria, Spain and England over the past months. The website of inhorgenta europe can be retrieved in no fewer than nine languages in the meantime. The Gold Card, whose holders can use various free services at inhorgenta europe as well as at numerous other trade fairs in Europe, Asia and the USA, is obviously attracting an increasing number of trade visitors from foreign countries to Munich. This is another reason to look forward to the first important trade fair of 2008 with anticipation and eagerness.

Sex on the beach, Verano and Cara Dreams: We have offered these 3 cocktails in cooperation with the spanish restaurant Besitos during the New Pop Festival Shopping Night in Baden Baden. No wonder that barkeeper Sascha had problems to fulfill the orders at this special Happy Hour price of only 3,- euro.

But not only at the cocktail bar in front of the store it was busy. Inside the TeNo Store a lot of people have been interested in TeNo design jewelry and watches. During this night the YuKoN range was most succeful.
