Positive thinking

Florian - Tuesday, 27. January 2009

thinkpositiveIn times like these, when words like “financial crisis” or “global economic crisis” dominate, good news becomes rare news more than ever. So I think we would all welcome to hear  as many good and positive news as possible. This is why TeNo Germany brought the project “Think positive charity” into life. The aim of this charity is to get as many comments as possible. For every positive comment, trackback or pingback that this german post will get TeNo will donate 2 € to the Stand Up Initiative, an organisation collecting money to help paraplegic.

The remarkable about the “Stand up initiative” is that the founder, Hamoun Kamai, is disabled from the neck down himself, but that was no reason for him to stop living his life. Now he’s not only trying to help himself but also all the other paraplegic to participate at normal life again.

And there are more people trying to spread progressive thinking. For example this blog carnival called: Carnival of positive thinking. There you can find many articles and posts about positive thinking, or inspiring storys from real life, just like the one of Hamoun Kamai. So stop feeling powerless and get things moving. And I think, this posting and the german Think positive charity could be our contribution to that Carnival of positive thinking as well.

Either our charity is a german activity and takes place in Germany we’ll also welcome all english written comments full of positive thoughts. As I said before – each comment = 2 € for Stand Up. Join us and post your positive thought here. Thank you. :-)

International Blog Parade: Blog around the clock

Biggi - Monday, 21. April 2008

blogparadelogo.jpgSome call it the Blog Parade, others the Blog Carnival, they all mean the same. This is what it is:
Lots of blogs all write about the same thing, one blog collects it all together, summarises it, and then makes it available to the other blogs again. Anyone who wants to know more, can look it up at Wikipedia.

We’re now starting the International Blog Parade here at the TeNo blog: Blog around the clock. International because we want to start this blog at the same time in our German, Spanish and French blogs. And we thought we’d collect articles about time and watches. So we’ve spread the subject matter pretty far and wide – we’d love to get philosophical observations on time itself, just as much as we’d like practical tips for better time management, photos on watches and time, reviews of books about time and watches, articles about special watches of any make, watch collections, advice on watch museums, links to watch blogs and watch portals and and and….. There’s no limit set on your imagination or ideas.
