TeNo - discover your desire

Now it’s time and we nearly made it. We put on the Christmas cap and go on winter holiday. We are hoping to spend a great Christmas time, to have a good start of the new year and to be able to take a break from the hectic holiday season.

TeNo will be on works holidays until the 9^th of January 2012.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas time, a happy new year and we hope to see you all back again in 2012.

We have just been thinking about the fact that we always serve up things here to you, but that you might like to get information on completely different things. Therefore: Tell us – and you wish is our command. Christmas time is the time for making wishes.

It’s winter! And the snow did come just in time for many christmas markets which are already open for a couple of weeks.  But not just the trees and houses are getting a “new dress” in white, our living rooms are decorated festive as well. Despite of all this bright light and the christmassy decoration we shouldn’t forget about the most important thing: jewelry for ourselves, jewelry as a gift for others or as a gift for us- or really simple for keeping it yourself!

Sparkling gift ideas for her and him can be found for example in our collection TeNo de luxx. There are enough glamorous occasions for that in the next few weeks: Christmas, New Year’s Eve, operas, dances…:-)

The anticipation of christmas increases – or better: the anticipation of the pre-Christmas period, since everyone is decorating, preparing and filling their Advent calendars :-) Who does not want to rely (just) on his luck can rummage throughout the entire year in our assortment to make big and small wishes come true. Before the Christmas Day is coming up really soon, the boots have to be cleaned! A little something from St. Nicholas sweetens the Advent period and makes the time of waiting until the 24th of December appear shorter. By the way, we have some jewelry for you that does not cost too much and fits in every boot, even a tiny one ;-)

Pearls are just for the summer? We disagree, because in white they remind us of little snowflakes, in dark-red they create a great Christmas atmosphere. Furthermore we can offer you a warm copper, a dazzling peacock and an elegant grey. Slowly everything starts to calm down here in Germany.  We worked a lot the past few weeks and this year it wasn’t just the christmas stress but also the preperations for our anniversary year. We’re celebrating a special turn of the year: 10 years TeNo. But before it’s time for that, we celebrate christmas and enjoy some calme and relaxing days. Office and factory in Pforzheim will be closed from tomorrow. TeNo is having vacation closedown from the 24th of December through the 6th of January. On the 7th of January we’ll be starting again.

Christmastime is the best season for selling jewelry. At least, that’s the key point this blog is getting across.  Now it would be interesting to know some good ways to get the best out of this high point of selling. The linked blog has 17 tips of how to improve your sellings, such as offering free shipping. Or, as the TeNo blog did, making suggestions for christmas gifts. And of course the christmas decoration is very important as well. The TeNo store in Baden-Baden, Germany already did a nice job on decorating their store. :-)

So hopefully it’ll be a good christmas, for a good ending season of this year. :-)

In my memory, my mum always got my dad socks, a shirt and a tie. And I still know what I was thinking – HOW BORING. But I also noticed: dads usually don’t wish for anything. Socks, a shirt and a tie – a running gag when its about getting presents for your husband. Silly, isn’t it? For those who want to do one better get him a drill – you can always use one of those – or, to be more modern, a new hard drive for his computer. Long live the cliche. Although – if you look around yourself – times have changed. If it is the retro fashion or simply because everything from the past becomes modern again – cuff links are trendy again. (more …)

My blog entry from before reminded me that Christmas is not that far away anymore. ;)

Every time, when Jürgens birthday is over, Christmastime gets undeniable closer and with it the ever evolving question: “Which presents could I buy?”

So what would be more obvious, than to hint in a blog of a watches an jewelry producer, that jewelry and watches are a perfect present. ;-)
