Snipped&Inked, a blog you can already find in our blogroll, came up with a very nice idea. They started a competition. All the couples had to enter their personal love story where they described how they fell in love and why they should win. From my understanding, the winner gets a 500,-$ travel credit for their honeymoon as well as some other nice gifts and, I think that´s the main price, a photo shoot with “A Brain photo“, a photographer from NYC specialized on wedding and engagement pictures.  Here you can see the stories of the four finalist couples. They all have very nice and positive stories to tell mainly concerning what NYC means to them and how they found each other. I already submitted my vote.

Soon, the winner will be declared and marry during the winter in NYC. Or at least that´s where the pictures will be taken. Pictures that last forever and represent a very special moment. Just like the rings they will wear from that day on and hopefully last forever. And, in my eyes, a very stylish option for an engagement ring you can see above. Stainless steel with a ceramic inlay. Pure and beautiful. You can find much more partner- and engagement rings here and here. With gold, diamonds or ceramic, just the way you like it.

Visit from the Netherlands (part II)

Stef - Wednesday, November 12 2008

After the evening we’ve spend together we went on with the programm we’ve put together for our jeweler partners. We rented a bus to drive to the TeNo store in Baden-Baden, but before we had a tour with our visitors at our fabric. But I will tell you about this later on. Since we didn’t make the pictures ourselves, we are still waiting for the CD. So as soon as we have the photos I will write part III.

Here you can see the bus at the arrival and myself in front of the shopwindow together with Mrs. and Mr. Vreugdewater of Juwelier Haas from Arnheim.

Inside the store there was a lot of TeNo “insidertalk” ;-). The store manger GIO took also care of a little snack for in between. Later on in the afternoon we drove back to Pforzheim where we had to say goodbye to our visitores. And as said before, there is a hole bunch of photos comming up, i think I’ll make a small photo gallery.
