YuKoN – Show us your creations! (10)

Teresa - Thursday, July 1 2010

It’s really exciting that more and more people are sending us pictures of their own personal YuKoN jewelry. Today we can show you a really great picture – the YuKoN steel bracelet from our TeNo staff member Sabine Taxis.

Polished stainless steel bullets with two YuKoN coins and a cylinder with three lines ceramic inlays. The bracelet gets its special kick due to the two thick red stop bars. I think it looks really great! (more …)

YuKoN – Show us your creations! (6)

Teresa - Friday, June 4 2010

A friend of our TeNo agent Burkhard Ludäscher in Switzerland wears YuKoN as well and obviously she reads our TeNo blog. She sent us a picture for our YuKoN gallery. We were really excited about that, so thank you very much, Michaela.

And this is what her YuKoN bracelet looks like:

YuKoN steel bracelet from Michaela

A YuKoN steel bracelet with three stainless steel doughnuts, an element with white mother of pearl and two elements from our serial YuKoN colors in pink. In addition a charm pendant from our Black & White serial and one of our still quite new YuKoN stainless steel charms with mother of pearl. An athletic and feminine combination. I really like it. How about you? (more …)

10 percent off for TeNo fans – pendant YuNis

Teresa - Saturday, March 27 2010

Many TeNo fans ask us on which products they’re getting 10 percent off during our anniversary year. That’s why we decided to present some of our anniversary offers here on the TeNo blog. The start makes our pendant YuNis – satinised stainless-steel with an inlay off high-quality, black HighTech ceramic in our classic three square design. These three squares have become our trademark and you couldn’t imagine our collection without it. We are excited that the 3 x 4 corners melted together with TeNo over the years and especially that even our first creations are still demanded. That was and is our standard: TeNo design wants to be timeless and doesn’t want to follow fast moving trends. And so this pendant YuNis is what we would call a a classic. During our anniversary year it will be labeled with the little yellow 10, the symbol that TeNo fans get 10 percent off.

ShiKou doesn’t rust.

ShiKou09_3

“Over five years on the market and still the ShiKou collection from TeNo is not rusting.”-so a german magazine. We can explain that they’re right for sure. Even in 25 years ShiKou is not going to rust. The design is ageless and still modern tomorrow, just like everything from TeNo ShiKou is made to outlast time. The materials-satined stainless steel and robuts rubber, sometimes with sparkling diamonds or soft gold-don’t rust in general. ;-) The speciale clasp and the in the bracelet integrated steel wire ensure that the bracelet is absolutely stable. ShiKou can sustain a lot. Thanks to this technique you won’t loose ShiKou when you close it properly and you could really only destroy it under the use of great force. You can’t think of TeNo without the ShiKou collection anymore and it’s going to be a main part of TeNo for many more years. And of course it is not going to rust, because none of the TeNo jewelry pieces is ever going to rust. Nor in the transferential meaning . :-)

TeNo endless – the new jewelry line for women

Teresa - Friday, October 2 2009

women

We don’t want to say a lot, but show a lot: The new necklace of our new line TeNo endless. Something really different and still typical TeNo.

And this is the first imagetext for our new piece of jewelry. Hopefully women all over the world like it as much as we do. This necklace is after our successfull lines YuKoN and ShiKou the start of a brand new TeNo line with which we tend to do a lot.  Simply TeNo “endless”.

Premiere for something bigger

TeNo endless-the new line for women

Airily intertwined links of satin stainless steel and velvet black, soft rubber are united in thrilling jewelry. Full of contrast they flow together. High-quality materials of soft yellow or rosé gold provide a stylish accent. Restrained yet striking. Typical TeNo understatement. For women who like big jewelry but not bling. Large yet not overpowering. Light yet unmistakable. Elegantly simple yet expressive this chain lends that something special to each outfit. Jewelry without beginning or end, that is TeNo endless, the new feminine line from TeNo. Made in Germany.

Popular reasons why men purchase jewelry

Florian - Thursday, August 27 2009

That more and more men are purchasing jewelry now is not a secret anymore, as we already said in this blog entry, where we talked about men buying diamond jewelry. But not only diamond jewelry is gaining popularity but also “regular” jewelry, like stainless steel or wood jewelry. And as you can read here, wearing jewelry has a long history, starting with priests and kings to jewelry for everyone. The necklace seems to be the favorite among the men jewelry, followed by rings and bracelets. However the blog suggests silver and platinum jewelry, but  this blog and our earlier entries say otherwise. On the statement, that wooden jewelry creates a natural look, I think we can agree on.

The effect of stainless steel

Florian - Thursday, July 16 2009

Apparently, stainless steel jewelry can attract attention more than other kinds of jewelry. For example as described here, the effect of stainless steel on women. First I thought that they mean that men wearing this kind of jewelry attract women, but when reading the article you notice that they mean it elsewise.

With attraction, they  mean that women begin to discover that stainless steel is a very good option for them instead of silver for example. So if a man buys them stainless steel jewelry for special occasions like christmas or their birthdays it might impress them. In my mind, this might be a good side effect, but the most important that the jewelry looks good on you. So maybe if the man wears good looking stainless steel jewelry himself, it impresses the other gender as well. ;-) And for both, men and women, you can find here a big variety of different jewelry.

Taking care of your wedding ring

Florian - Wednesday, July 15 2009

Probably, those who are married, have invested quite  a bit of money, but also treasure the ring as a very special symbol.  So it´s obvious that you want to take good care of your wedding ring.

In general there are two different things to keep in mind, the proper wearing and the regular cleaning. And as this blogs says, proper wearing means not to wear your ring during housework or yard work, the regular cleaning of course depends on what kind of ring you have. On how to clean stainless steel I found the video shown below, however I can´t guarantee you that the shown way will work. Or you can use this stainless steel steam cleaner, which in my mind is a very expensive way and for this price you might want to buy a new ring. ;-)

Stainless steel wedding rings

Florian - Sunday, June 7 2009

Recently we had a blog entry about stainless steel wedding rings gaining more and more popularity. Now, on the blog wedding rings.net it says that especially younger couples are considering buying those kind of wedding rings. Also, the material itself hold a lot of advantages. For example the durability, the annual rising demand of stainless steel the jewelry business, or the overall low manufacturing costs compared to other materials like tungsten titanium.  There are many more reasons and advantages of stainless steel why to use it for the manufacturing of jewelry, so you better read it the hole article. :-) But here is one quote I couldn’t hold back:

So when shopping for wedding bands that offer the same style, quality and durability as the pricier precious metals, but without the cost and environmental impacts associated with them, stainless steel is an obvious choice for creating a long lasting bond

Stainless steel, of course, is the main component of  TeNo products. And we are sure that this  material will assert itself against the others. And we are the proof that it is very stylish. ;-)

Stainless steel rings for your engagement?

Juergen - Tuesday, April 21 2009

069260026s01d531

In our experience, more and more couples decide to go for a stainless steel wedding ring. Of course, we are very happy to hear that since escpecially in the young generation there is a change of mind. However, our jewelry costumers report us that this is often a highly discussed matter. Often it’s not about the closely related engagement if they decide for a stainless steel design, but it’s more about the symbolic. And this is exactly the point. In my mind, it should not be a question of money. It dosen’ t matter if the ring costs, 200, 500, 800 or maybe even 3.000. What do you think about it?
